Back when I began this blog in February 2011, I posted a project I recently did and provided a tutorial. I got a huge response and activity over it. However it has been a blessing and a curse. I've gotten to "meet" so many people through it and many have shared pictures of their completed projects! But many have failed at the project. I've received urgent messages and emails from panicked people who (for what ever reason) the project just didn't work for them. It could be any reason from a certain paper type to a certain printer/ink type I'm just not sure.
A while back I tested my own tutorial and came up with the same results. I had a few reader requests for custom projects and I sold a few.
Today I'm posting another template for the project, this time the entire piece will be 5ft not 8ft as the original. You will need to cut (or have the store) your plywood into 15"x15" squares this time. The Image is different too.
(This time I added a charcoal pencil to the mix and really liked the contrast it created)
So...If you want to give it another try, or like the smaller size click here to download the PDF files for the template. You will still need to follow the original tutorial.
Good Luck!
I love this!! Not sure i have the time to attempt this, would you be willing to make and sell one??
ReplyDeleteYou are missing some panels on the PDF folder. One for the "1" and one for "10" on the grid... is there a way to get these posted?
ReplyDeleteAgreed, please post the missing panels. I can not wait to try this!!!
Deletedid any of you get the #1 and #10 panel yet?
DeleteI see number 1 is posted but now 9 and 10 are missing.
DeleteI tried to do this one myself. Total fail! lol... maybe I'll try again when I have the patience for a re-do.:)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you could give me a few tips on how to get my own blog out there! I stopped and started it and now I’m back and really would like to build a following so there is an exchange of ideas! Any tips???

It seems like we are missing #9 and #10?
ReplyDeleteI was able to create a "1" by reversing #8, and create a "10" by reversing #15.
ReplyDeleteMy son wants me to do this project for his room but use an image of a guitar. I'm not sure how to make the template. Any advice?
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble printing the images from the Internet. When I attempt to print the images, it prints the entire page as it shows up on the screen with thumbnail, advertisements and such. Any suggestions or tips on what I may be doing wrong?
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I just printed them all out and have my boards ready to go but now will be unable to do the project. Please post the missing panels.... PLEASE!!
