Did you see Design star tonight!!!

I LOVED Leslie's carpet "art". What great inspiration for easy cheap/free DIY work! I think it was so successful because the texture of the carpet showing through!
The entire episode was full of great ideas to re purpose and reuse.



See it in the background in the picture above! I think I may have to try this!

I thought all the rooms had goods and bads....but seriously Kathy needs to learn to work with others!
I feel sorry for Brett having to leave, he never really got a chance to shine.

Like: Floor (minus lack of durability)
         Dresser
         chair / fabric
Dislike: Wall color
            molding - not executed well

Love this dresser - this could be a fun DIY!

Tyler and Leslie:

Likes: (love) the Art!
Dislike: Fireplace - would have preferred painted white


Bret and Kellie:

          Likes: The chair of course
                     the paint color! Finally something other than BLUE!
Dislike:.......The headboard of course! and the bedding

Karl, Meg, and Mark
Best room by far!

Likes: color combos, layering of rugs, mixed furniture
Dislikeses: thought the clock above the fireplace was a little too small

A good episode, Although I'm not sure Meg should of won "Best Designer", A three way tie would have been cool!

Can't wait till next week!
