Toy's R Living Room?

With three little boys...Toys are EVERYWHERE! While I want them to have fun and play...at the end of the day I want to relax...alone... without the company of Buzz Light year, Batman, and about 500 other uninvited guests!

So where do we put it all? In our VERY small living room we have 8 meduim size baskets that fill the entire bottom shelf of the entertainment unit, 2 huge ottomens, and one large catch all basket. Sounds like overkill...but they are all filled to the top with toys!

Using ready-made store bought items like baskets and ottomans serve as great toy storage! You can keep your room looking more "adult" without giant toy boxes and open piles of toys. By buying items that are not specifically just for children, these storage solutions can change as your family grows older. Later you can use the baskets for games, books, and magazines!

We use 2 ottomans as a coffee table, but if you open them you'll see they serve as toy boxes!

I found these at Gordman's. I like that they are rectangle not square.

But.....You should see our rec room/family room. Not so organized! I'll post about that later.
